Stupid UPS

DH was waiting for a package. We tracked it, was going to be delivered on the 25th. Well, I tracked it yesterday morning and it said it was rescheduled for the 26th (today). I was taking today off, so I'd be here for it. Well, DH is one for instant gratification, and to supress his feelings of having to wait, he went to Toys R Us and spent $25 that we couldn't afford (it's rent time) on a stupid toy that broke the first time he used it.

So this morning I track it again to make sure it's on the truck. Son-of-a-bich - they delivered it yesterday at 10am! Well...WHERE did they deliver it? We were home ALL DAY with the DOOR OPEN and NOBODY ever came to our door!?! So I call UPS and find out where they took it - they took it to the office. That's no big deal, b/c when we're not home that's where the stuff goes...but aren't they supposed to bring it to OUR door first and then leave a YELLOW SLIP if they leave it in the office? This is the 3rd time that this has happened. THey're too farking lazy to come back here and leave a damn note, so I have to dress the boy and myself and treck all the way to the office - which is like a quarter mile from where we're at - and pick up the stupid package.

I made Joey ditch school today, which I'm glad about. At 7:15 they tried to call me into work. Sorry. No can do. Kept the boy home today :) Neener Neener! How come I knew that they'd try to call me in?? huh? teehee. Fuck 'em. I'm staying home and scrapping. So there :P
