Only the cats love him

Last week, Joey somehow managed to get a little bruise on the top part of his left cheek (face, lol). It was just there one morning. He's a boy, so I figured he rammed his face into something. Like 2 days later, on thursday, he came home with a little scratch right below the bruise. It's really small, again, maybe ramming his head into something. It wasn't there that morning, but it was there when I picked him up.

Saturday he goes to my moms for the day while I work. She asked him, "What happened to your cheek? Did Baby Cat scratch you?" - see, Joey has a habbit of terrorizing the cat, so he bites and/or scratches him. Nothing really major and it's not an everyday kind of thing. But generally, that's where Joey gets his scratches from.

Anyway, This was his response:

"No. Baby Cat and Syd Cat loves me. They are my best pals. Erin and David don't love me anymore. I think they hate me and will give me away. I'm gonna go find some new parents." [insert 'drama queen' pouty face here]

Now, he didn't directly say that we gave him his owies..but isn't that the kind of crap that would get some parents in trouble?

I had forgotten that he said that, and remembered this morning, and told DH. So he asks Joey how he got the scratch and bruise. He told him "Oh, it was just a little assident. Don't worry 'bout it!" *shrug*

Tonight before we went to dinner with the 'rents, I was combing his hair in the bathroom and he sees the scratch. The bruise is barely visible by this point, and the scratch is scabbed over. He says "Who did that to my face?! Oh, don't worry 'bout it, baby!" *shrug again*

Then at dinner, my mom asks him AGAIN, what happened to his face. "Oh, I did it at school. I fell down, it was an assident. Don't worry 'bout it, baby!" *if i shrug more i'm going to dislocate an important body part*
