Sucks! Sucks! Sucks!

That's Joey's new word. Whenever he gets frustrated with something he'll growl and say "It's making me VERY ANGERRRRRRRRRY and it SUCKS!" ROFL

I got screwed out of my Sunday off. Was supposed to go to a crop w/my mom tomorrow night and I asked for Sunday off as a 'recovery' day - since we'd be out late. They couldn't find coverage for Sunday so I have to work, so I'm not cropping tomorrow night.

I did do a page tonight a bit ago. Came out pretty good, I think :)

That's all, carry on :)

My handbasket to hell will be carved of Basic Grey!

I have more Basic Grey than any one person will ever need in a lifetime. I just counted - I have 87 sheets of BG, with 30+ more sheets on the way in the mail.

Sue me.

Plus I got all the monograms, tags, and folder thingies too. Sue me again.

Will I ever use it? Probably not. Screw me.

Picked up 4 sheets of Wild Asparagus paper too. Awesome stuff, beautiful textures. I must use that. Got some giant monogram letters - J & E (for Joey and Erin, lol). I think those are WA too, and a set of the new Lil Davis foamies. That makes 2 sets of those that I have. Oh, and a chipboard coaster thingy for a Joey l/o.

I dropped $75 in a new LSS today in under 10 minutes. I rock! Even though I still missed my bus home. And the stupid bus in that area only runs every 80 minutes. Wasn't going to wait so I spent $17 on a cab home. I had to pee, and Joey was wired on the sundae I fed him at the Sonic while we waited. Took longer to get home b/c I walked to the mailbox, had a package at the office (wayyyyyyyyyyy at the front of the complex - Thanks Jen! :P ), picked that up, and then back home. Made it here by 2pm though :) Not bad, 4 hour trip to go 7 miles away, ROFL.

Oh yeah, and I'm going to hell for buying so much crap lately, ROFL.

3 Day Weekend!

Yes, I had one. I was going to take some TH classes at a LSS, but forgot to register and had already requested the days off...why change, right? Was gonna go fishing with my dad and the boy, but it was too windy, so I ended up scrapping at my moms instead all day saturday. Yesterday I scrapped a little more, did some laundry, cleaned the house - nothing too spectactular.

This morning I had to take Joey to the Phoenix Municipal Stadium (the field where they do MLB spring training here) to have "A Day With The Diamondbacks". It was quite fun, lots of field events for the kidlets. It was all directed to preschoolers with special needs...even though Joey's only got a slight speech problem - but if it gets him out of school for a day, lol.... There were kids from all over the city from different school districts - all Head Start children. I'd say there was about 500 kids total there, and it was a blast. Joey did a bit of TBall, musical chairs, got his hand painted on, and did an obstacle course about 5 times - he loved that!

The only bummer part...where were the D'Backs???? The whole place was decked out in D'Back style - black, purple, & teal balloons, posters, signs, employee uniforms, and all the kids got a D'Back shirt when we came in. We didn't see one single player until the last 5 minutes of the event, and didn't even know it was them until it was pointed out to us because the 3 whole players that showed up weren't in uniform, lol. For all we knew they were more volunteers or parents, ya know?

But all was not lost, for our children still got to play with a MLB team...just not our home team. The Milwakee Brewers were out in full force hangin' with the tots. They were so into it, and it was so fun to watch. They were handson playing games with them, doing the face painting, handing out prizes, and even the medals during the "award ceremony" at the end. before it started one of the guys was standing on the dugout in right field (right where we were sitting) blowing bubbles and letting the kids blow bubbles with him...not to mention the view I had of that young hunk of flesh in...oh wait...this isn't about me *blushing*

Anyway, it was a good busy day with a tshirt and free lunch :)

Afterwards I went to Wal-Mart and got my hair hacked off. Joey said "You look just like Grandma Vikki!"...and what's sad...I do *hiding head in shame*. I can't believe after all these years of making fun of my mothers haircut, that I went and got the same one! And with these glasses...*sigh*....I'm my own worst nightmare *sobbing*
