Cheep Flowrs

That's what a sign up the road said. A stand selling mother's day crap. I don't want their stinkin' "cheep flowrs"..duh!

Went on our NSD outting today. The first store we went to was insane. I originally didn't want to go, b/c I don't like the store (customer service is rude). But I decided I would go in b/c I knew that had good mildly-textured cardstock and I wanted some. Bazzill is too hard to stamp on. I grabbed what I wanted, and got right in line. It was already to the very back of the store (it's not a really big store though). My mom got in line about 10 minutes later, and at that point it was already out the front door. I was in line for exactly 1 hour. My mom - 2 hours total. So, after I got out, I went and ate some lunch with Gary at Quizno's while we waited, lol. Everything in the store was 30% off though, so it was kinda worth it. $55 @ Memory Lane, lol.

Then we hit Ink It!, a stamping/altered arts store. It's a super cool little ditty, but they didn't have a sale because it's not a "scrapbook" store. Well, then get rid of the 5 racks of 12x12 patterned paper you have, dumbasses! I ended up still spending $40 there, b/c I needed some inks that I knew the other stores didn't carry.

Then we did the Barn - I hate that store, their sale sucked too. I did $7 there. Then we did Etc, where I spent another $40.

This is what I got today:
2 sheets of Wild Asparagus
1 pack of some stone sticker thingies in bright ass colors
1 catseye ink pad (black)
1 charm with the letter "J" on it
2 packs of sheets for my unmounted stamp binder
3 sheets of velvet paper (black, dark blue, and a mustard yellow)
6 pigment ink pads (small size, $2.75 each)
1 black staz on refill
1 bottle of Diamond Glaze
2 sets of Heidi Swapp alpha rubons (pink & brown - CUTE!)
1 sheet of Flair Designs cardstock stickers - #5 related
1 pack of black bazzill (25 sheets, 8.5x11 size)
1 copy The Joy Of Cardmaking (Had a coupon for this, lol)
20 sheets of craft & light cream colored cardstock
1 sheet of 7 Gypsies "97% complete" stickers - about girlfriends, sisters, etc
1 silly little funny shaped can w/handle & lid - about ATC size
1 funny little report card w/envelope
4 chipboard book covers to make my own mini alb.
1 ribbon whole punch (little double rectangles for threading)
10 sheets of chipboard ($1!!!)
2 yards of muted green twill
1 package of Karen Foster 'screw' brads
2 packages of antique finish mini brads
and 4 packs of cardstock - (210 sheets total)

The end :)

I got a baby cousin!!!

My cousin Nicholas (or Nicki) is a daddy! He and his wife, Vickie (how utterly adorable is that?) had their first baby on 5/3/05!! He's so farking cute it's unreal!

Nick mentioned that he got his wife a bunch of sb'ing stuff for xmas and that she's been working on a book for him :) I sent her a g/c to scrapbook.com and maybe that'll get her more addicted, lol.

Oh, and he mentioned that they got a sweet camera just recently - a farking digital rebel! OMG!! She's just a beginner and she gets a REBEL? ROFL Well, I guess if you could afford it... I tried to sell my DS on the blackmarket for one, until somebody told me that was wayyyyyyy illegal. Oh well, one day maybe somebody will let me fondle theirs, lol.

Tomorrow is National Scrapbook Day. Going on a field trip with my mom, her friend Christi, and Gay Gary (LOOOOOVE GAY GARY!!!) and possibly a friend from SWS...I best call her to see if she's still on ;) Gotta get me a lot of ink pads and some more inserts for my unmounted stamps. Oh yeah BUY STAMPS FROM ME, please? ROFL

I'm pretty excited! A day off of work and no child to deal with! WOOHOO!

Loooooooooong day off...

Yet nothing accomplished.

Well, I did finish my website for TAC :) TACdutchess Pretty cool, 'eh? So, if you need, want, have to have some rubber stamps - check it out! Very cool stuff, and I'm SOOOOOOOOO excited about doing it! Thank you Ro!!

I got my official TAC Angel # today. I'm 2467 I should be getting my kit on Monday...I LOVE MAIL!

Went to Whataburger for breakfast and hit the grocery store for some TP. Picked up some white sewing thread for my machine b/c I'm just about out, and only have black. Also found a cute metal jar/planter/vase type thing that I can stamp on. It's bright ass pink, but I like pink :)

Joey fell asleep on the couch and I never did bathe him today. DH will do it in the morning before school. I'm gonna go do something productive, like take a nap or something. Hell, it's almost 8:30, I just may go to bed for the night.

I'm gonna be a stamp pusher!

Tomorrow I'm going to fax over my application & info to become a TAC consultant! I'm so excited, I can't wait to get started!

I loves me some unmounted stamps, and TAC are fantastic. I'm on the DT at leavememories.com and just LOVE her stamps too..can't have too many stamps!

So, if you're in the market, let me know and I'll hook you up!

Okay, time for bed. Thank you and goodnight.

Oh yeah, and they stole more corn, 3 peppers, and 2 tomatoe plants. It was a little girl. woulda smacked her, 'cept she was a little girl. I just threw the rest of the tray in the dumpster. No sense in giving her more to come back for, lol.

They stole our carrots!!!

I planted some veggies with DS so he could watch them grow. They were in a try with 'pods' of soil on our porch until they sprouted - when we were then going to plant them in the regular soil.

I came home yesterday and the whole row of carrots were gone. Then DH pointed out that 2 pods of corn were gone (I know, can't grow corn around here, but it's fun to watch them sprout!). Also, our pot of kitty grass is gone! That so irritates me that the people around here will just take anything that isn't nailed down.

And it's not like our apartment is in a highly traveled area. We're on the side of our building, facing only one other apartment - meaning that the only people coming up our sidewalk or in the vacinity of our front porch would be US and the people across from us - and that apartment is vacant! We are in a single story apartment, so no upstairs neigbors, and we are the far row of appartments on the west side - so there's nobody on the west side of us either, except a brick wall!
