Well Gollllllllllly! It's been a week!
Been a little busy, I think.
Monday morning my boy woke up with the barfies. He went to a party with my mom on Saturday, and between Sunday & Monday half the people came down with a stomach virus - Joey was one of them. He'd never thrown up before, sans when he was a little baby kinda thing. He was freaked out at first. It was projectiled as he was standing up when he did it. He threw up most of the day, and of course, we kept him out of school. He slept away most of the day :)

========================
Tonight was Head Start night at the roller rink up the road. I haven't been skating in YEARS (read: around 15 or so!!), and Joey'd never been. I was like a first grader on those skates. I take that back. There were first graders out there better than me. I was like a 2 year old on skates!! Oh - My - Gawd - it was bad. And to top it off, I'm fat - therefore I sweat. A sweaty fat girl on skates. That, I'm sure, was a pleasure to view. I'm sure many people got a good giggle out of me hanging onto the wall for dear life, depending on my not-yet-5-year-old son as a post to grab on to when I almost fell.
Joey wasn't much better, but he was wearing big plastic over-the-shoe skates. He had a blast though. Got a free hot dog out of it. Hell, it wasn't free. Cost us $10 for the skates & the food - they try to make you think you're getting a deal. Next time I'll sneak a hot dog in inside my purse, LOL.
Here's a few pics :) The first one is of me & joey. I look like utter crap. Remember, I was at work all day and didn't bother showering or fixing myself up at all (but I did manage to sneak on some deodorant *snort*)

And here's a picture with one of Joey's girlfriends. Isn't she cute!!!???
