I would have rather'd sour grapes!

So earlier today the boy wants some milk with his cookie. I pour him a glass. He then spits it out and tells me it's yucky. I take a swig and he was right *wretch :: barf :: projectile vomit*

It was BAD. I looked at the date on it and it said sell by July 6 - well...I bought it on the 8th. It still shouldn't be THAT bad, right? I chuck it in the dumpster.

We went to go get some pizza for lunch and I picked up another gallon on the way home. Let me tell you, it is NOT fun carrying a 50billion pound gallon of milk home in this heat.

I put it in the fridge. This was about an hour ago. Joey's having another cookie, and asks for milk. So I get him a glass. Just out of sheer paranoia, I take a drink. It tastes fine, but it wasn't really cold. It was frigid when I brought it home (froze my fingers off, even), and it had been in the fridge for an hour.

Then I see it. The little temperature guage in the fridge. it was set to TWO!!

So, I'm gonna go thru there and toss everything out. Really, we didn't have that much in there besides some unknown leftovers and the milk & water. The milk will be fine though, I'm sure. It's still got 12 days until the expiration date, and I don't think 60 minutes w/o being in the box will kill us.

So I turned it up, and some short mid person will be getting a piece of my mind!
