Yeah, I know spanish!

We were in the laundry room the other day. There was another boy, a bit older than Joey in there, and they were playing together. They both jabbered on about this and that.

Then the little boy goes "Do you speak spanish?" {he was hispanic}

Joe replies: "Yes, I know spanish!"

Then he proceeds to run around in a frantic circle yelling "ROJO AZUL ROJO AZUL ROJO AZUL ROJO AZUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

For those of you that do NOT speak spanish - that's RED & BLUE, ROFL. Yeah, he knows spanish. He knows the words that will get him shot in LA, LOL.

He's getting his own computer..

My MIL ordered herself a new computer from Dell the other day and she's going to give us her old one for Joey. It's not that great, right along the lines of the POS we have now. We can get a memory upgrade for it and maybe a new hard drive and he'll be good to go. He won't have net access, but we can get him some fun games to play. She thinks the current hard drive is fried, but she's also a dingbat, lol. We shall see :) He'll be happy to have his own 'puter though :D

You'll maybe get hair on your penis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joey wanted to ride his bike. He's good at it now and wants to do it every day after school. I told him he had to wait until about Five-Zero-Zero when it cooled off a bit.

So he wakes me up {I was nappin', lol} and tells me "Mommy, it's Five-Four-Five. You missed it!"

So, being the good mommy that I am, I woke up and got him ready to go ride his bike. He's very mommy dependent and if I don't help him get dressed, he will be nekkid forever. He was in fact buck nekkid..which is the first time in a long while, so I wasn't too upset {we used to have a big problem with his buck-nekkidness}.

Mind you, I'm still half asleep, and I go to pull his shorts on him. I forgot the underwear. He starts screaming "YOU HAVE TO WEAR UNDERWEAR OR YOU'LL MAYBE GROW HAIR ON YOUR PENIS!!! DADDY SAID SO, THAT'S WHY!"

ROFLMAO...soooooooooo..that's how it happens! No wonder he's been so good about wearing them lately, rofl.

I crack myself up!

So I'm making a thing of sweet tea this afternoon. I have the bag of sugar in my hand. It's HOLLY brandy sugar, with a big holly leaf on it and everything. A customer comes up to me..

"Is that Holy sugar?"

I reply:

"Yes, it was blessed by a ribeye."

Get it? Get it? A ribeye...steak? ROFLMAO I thought it was pretty darned funny!

Bike Rider

When Joey first started school, we went and bought him a new bike. We wanted to get him one for his bday, but couldn't afford it right then, so we suprised him with it late.

He was so excited! He went out that day and we tried to teach him to ride it, but he just wasn't getting it. He got uber frustrated and gave up and we haven't been able to get him on it since.

Yesterday my MIL watched Joey instead of my mom {she went to a convention}. I sent his bike with him thinking maybe he would ride it out with the other kids in her neighborhood, but again - he wouldn't go near it. When she dropped us off, I put the bike on the sidewalk and told him to ride it to the house. I gave him a little shove and he was off. He peddled all by himself all the way to the apartment! He was so excited and asked if he could do it some more!

So, I threw my purse in the door and for 2 HOURS we went out bike riding! He loved going fast and doing it by himself. I was so proud, and at the same time wondered to myself "What the hell was he worried about?" ROFL.

So today I got him a brand new helmet (his old one was way too small), and it came with elbow & kneepads. We'll be taking his bike over to my moms later (having a bbq), and he can ride it there with all my nephews. Woot!

A new costume

Joey's 5 years old now, this would be his 6th Halloween on this planet. The first year he was a cute little pumpkin baby. A girl that I work with got him that costume. His head was a little too big for his hat, and everytime he scrunched his forehead it would pop off.

For his 2nd Halloween (just over 1 year old), I got him a kickass {and expensive!} costume from some online baby store. That thing cost me abut $45 after shipping. It was a cheetah. I got the smallest size they had, and it was still HUGE on him. I had to "hem" up the legs and the arms for the poor little guy.

For his 3rd Halloween, we were kinda poor because I had just gotten out of the hospital. Guess what he was? That's right, a cheetah. The costume was still a bit big on him. I let out my original hem and made another one to make the legs & arms a bit longer.

For his 4th Halloween - still poor. I had just quit my job a few days before and it was rent time - so no money for a costume. Cheetah time again! Man, this costume was getting a workout!!! I suppose I got my money's worth out of it though, 'eh?

For his 5th Halloween, I was all over it. Of course, it was only one week until Spoook Day when I had the $$ to get his costume. Therefore, they had all been picked thru reall good like. He saw a Dragon costume at Walmart and fell in LOVE {he lurves him some dragons!}. It was one of those deals that slips on like a shirt and has a hat attached with the dragons head. It had wings and red pants for under it. For under $10, you can't beat that! Unfortunately, it was just a tad too small. It was a BITCH to get off of him. But, it was the only one that he liked {or that I would put ON him for that matter}, in his size, this close to Halloween.

This year, I'm even more proactive. I'm still broke, for sure, but I wasn't going to screw my kid out of a good halloween costume. We went to walmart this morning and they have the whole big Halloween area set up. One of the first costumes in the front was one that he wanted. He had seen it online {but it was $50, screw that}, and had been asking me about it for several days. There was no price on it, but I picked it up to go find out. It was the only one of that style in his size...so this year...he will be...DARTH VADER! He's so excited. It came with a good sturdy mask, a light saber, and the front of the costume has fiberoptic lights! WOOT! I even went as far as to get him a matching candy bucket, ROFL. Oh yeah, it was $25 *twitch*

An early start!

Well, last night I went to change out of my work clothes. I plopped on the bed, and never looked back. Within the next hour, Joey & Dave ended up in bed too. This was in between 7 & 8pm. Of course, going to bed so early, and not having any dinner - we were all up by 4am. For the day of course.

I managed to get most of the house picked up and/or cleaned, including a good scrub down in the bathroom.

Then we hopped on a bus at 7am and headed to the Bank/Walmart/Denny's.

Denny's didn't suck this time, last time it was AWFUL! (Did I spell that right? I hate that word..) We were stuffed when we left :)

Then off to Walmart we went, spending just over $103 that we couldn't afford. Oh well, we'll live, lol.
