Busy as a beeeee

Okay, here's the update that I've recieved some emails about *sigh*

I've just been uber super duper busy lately.

I've got a ton of projects to do for CHA, and I've only completed one and started one other.

I'm also crocheting a granny square blanket for my Secret Santa. Got a late start on it, so it *might* end up being a few minutes late, lol. I have to do 48 squares, and I've only done 24. I'm trying to work on it every spare second I have.

I got my Christmas shopping for Joey done, at least. I got him the following (from what I can remember): An icee machine, a drum machine, a r/c T-Rex, a dinosaur play set, connect 4, some Silly 6 Pins game, and a soccer game, oh and some Cariboo game. I think there was something else, but I can't remember. Santa is bringing him a magic set, and a mini-robo-raptor (like the $100 one, but smaller and only $13, lol). He's also getting a Harmonica in his stocking. He asked for a harmonica...not sure why.

He's doing very good in school. His fine motor skills have greatly improved in the last month or so. It's reflected in the way he colors. He's picked up a few words lately that he likes to use out of context: Actually and Quite. It's really funny when he tries to use them in a sentence, lol.

A couple weeks ago, he brought me a piece of ABC gum and said "Mommy, please take this as a token of my gratitude". That really cracked my $hit up. He said it again last night when he hung an ornament off the hamsters water bottle "I gave him that is a token of gratitude.". I asked him if he knew what 'gratitude' meant, he says "Yeah, it means 'Here, take this'." ROFL. Yeah, I guess it does, in a way, lol.

For xmas, I got the DH a r/c car that he wanted from Radio Shack. That stupid thing ran $60. This is like his 4th one like that (different model), and at last count a couple weeks ago, he's up to 61 of the stupid micro cars. Have I ever mentioned how much I hate them? Not really hate, but they're obnoxious, for sure.

For me? HOPEFULLY I'm getting new furniture. I did some website work for somebody and really got PAID. I've never been paid for it before, so I was so excited. I got the first payment a few weeks ago, and I'm waiting on the 2nd. She mailed it priority yesterday, so I might have it tomorrow or Friday. I sure hope so, because I have it all planned out to get my goodies on saturday. If it's not here in time, then it'll get put off until the 2nd weekend in January since next week is Christmas & the following is New Years. I won't want to go out then, and I doubt my mother would either. I have my list all made out of everything I'm going to buy and I couldn't be more excited!

I think that's about it. Just that I have a LOT of projects to work on (including christmas cards, which everyone will probably get sometime in January...just an FYI), and a few christmas presents that I'm *intending* on making. UGH

Nap time? Nope, I'm off to do some laundry.......
